Hooded Merganser Hotshoe Cover

Handmade Hooded Merganser duck (Lophodytes cucullatus) hotshoe cover. The cover can protect the sensitive hot shoe from dust, moisture, and scratches. Most importantly, it lets you have a little bird friend help you take your photos!

The bird is made out of polymer clay and hand-painted with acrylic paint. The bird is attached to a plastic hotshoe cover with epoxy resin and coated in UV resin. They are extremely durable; these are not glass or ceramic. The fit will be snug but might be extra snug at first, like breaking in new shoes (no pun intended).

NOTE PLEASE READ: These are suitable for all kinds of SLR digital cameras and ordinary digital cameras with a UNIVERSAL hot shoe interface. Universal does not mean it fits every hotshoe interface; it is the type of hotshoe interface. It will NOT fit onto cameras with a multi-function hotshoe (MFS) or a multi-interface shoe (MIS), please check your camera to make sure it has a universal hotshoe cover! These are also suitable for flash brackets. Does NOT fit Sony cameras made before 2012.
